Care Instructions

NOT DISHWASHER SAFE

Before first use: seasoning

Fill the pot 80% with water, add 3 tablespoons of rice, and boil for 1 hour. Let it cool naturally, wash it, and it's ready. This is a one-time step.

Cleaning

Hand wash with warm water, mild soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Avoid steel wool and harsh cleaners.

Drying

Essential to prevent mold. Dry with a cloth, then remove any remaining moisture on a warm stovetop, in a warm (turned-off) oven, or in the sun.

Storage

Store only when completely dry, in a dry, well-ventilated place, ideally upright.

If it smells damp

Wash with white vinegar, dry thoroughly, and leave in the sun for a few hours.
